'I had to leave to protect him. He'd be in more danger with me if we're together' she said, her stares blank as they concentrated on the walls. Jordan was curled up in her arms, nuzzling around her chest area. It's funny how much bond they've managed to build in such short time. He trusted her so much, loved her extremely also. I was somewhat happy that he never had to feel the negative impact of not having any of his parents around. At least, the chest nut lady filled in that blank space.

Her words however made me giggle unintentionally.

'You had to leave to protect him? How would you be able to protect someone you love if you're far away from them? I thought it doesn't work like that'
