Power House Party.

The ride back to the party was quiet, Brett had stopped by a nearby hospital and got his wounds treated and attended to ,His father was holding the reason Salvador cancelled the contract his fault now and he couldn't even defend himself or dare say another word, Whatever was going on in his head was who Salvador was and the power he had that made his father plead and beg a man his son's age on his knees.

" Shouldn't you at least tell me your relationship with him... Brett said.

" It's nothing you should worry about and instead of picking a fight with him because of some girl...Get close to him and learn what he carries…. Mr Matador hissed and got down from the car.. Brett clenched his fist,He sat back in the car before coming down.

The Great five always host this gala party with the theme ,The power house party. It's a party where the one precent of the one percent of the country is in attendance... This party was said to be the gathering of great men and women.. Not everyone could get in the list and it was a dream come true for a young entrepreneur if he could step his legs inside the party. Celebrities, Business men, Politicians and even Royals were all present. Aside from the gala party celebration,One of the member of the Lyon family had already won an election as congressman so it was double celebration.

The outside of the Hill event hall , Fleets of cars gathered, Reporters were outside trying to bust their way in just to take pictures but the security was tight.

The occasion kicked off with the auctioning of a landed property in the middle of the town,It was at the right place of the city, Anyone who could have good ideas would surely make millions out of the landed property.

" I want to welcome everyone who is here presently….I see the king of a great kingdom in Africa.. King Tawande,The prime minister of Cristin, Various business men of different industries... Entertainment stars and lastly..The Lyons,The Lucas,The Calamades, The Burgess and My very own family The Peters…. Brett sister said as she opened the event. The crowd applauded.

" We still have guest coming but I guess the important one's are here already so we can start the auctioning but firstly shall we present gifts????? She smiled.

" A painting from Tawande kingdom from the great king of Tawande...The king announced and the crowd applauded.

" A gift for the new congressman..An official car...One man said from the car.

" Wow …..The crowd murmured and kept applauding.

" A bottle of fine wine indicating sweetness in the mouth of our new congressman worth five million dollars from the West family…..

" A flower vase brought all the way from the great land of channel.. Blessed by a well known monk to wish the congressman nothing but luck and good works in his reign..Mr Zouh a business partner from china presented.

" A penthouse we have willingly donated to fhw congressman for his hosting courtesy MG Real estate companies…

Brett sister held a mic at the middle of the event presenting and accepting the gifts of different kinds.

Lands, Assets, Jewelries, Gold, Silver and Cash prices were echoing all over the room.. nobody wanted to be left out. It was a gathering of powerful families and men of different works of life.

" May we start the land auctioning????? Brett sister asked.

" Go on...The oldest patriarch said.

" The Land is a property in Germany so therefore it will be bought in their currency...We may now start the auctioning...The housing complex in Germany with the cost of one square meter as 200 euros,The property is 100 square meters... May we start the price bargaining,The highest bidder wins...Brett sister stepped down from the stage and the auctioning official walked in.

" In dollars... Twelve million dollars….The first bider raised his bid.

" Twelve million on the slot…..

" Fifteen million dollars... Another bider raised the bid.

" Fifteen million dollars on the slot and it's on going…. Going…

" Twenty million dollars...The eldest son of the Lyon family bidded.

The crowd was silence, Everyone was calculating wether or wether not to bid higher.

" Twenty million dollars!!!! It's going.. It's going...And …

" Twenty five…. Brett raised the bid and everyone kept calm.

" Twenty five million dollars!!! Going for Twenty five million dollars… The Auctioning official raised the flag.

" Fifty million dollars!!!!! A man said from behind and everyone turned to look at him.

Salvador walked in hand's in hand's with his beautiful wife who everyone knew has the crippled girl who use to be Brett's secretary, Elena couldn't tell why people kept staring at them, Was it because her husband just bidded twice the highest bidder's price or was it because she was walking again whatever the case was,She was enjoying the attention she was getting. As her hands locked with her six feet husband,She could feel the sky was their limit has they walked in.

" What are you doing here??? Brett asked and his father shut him up with the most hazardous eyes.

" Who asked you to speak???? Mr Matador said and the crowd gasped, Brett was known as one of the most successful bachelor in the city and now his father was downgrading him in front of people who saw him as a demigod. Brett felt like the ground could swallow him up, Since the man appeared from nowhere it was nothing but shame and disgrace he received on countless occasions.

" Fifty million dollars!!!!! Highest bid... Going.. Going..The Auctioning official broke the silence and everyone remained silence.

" The Landed property will be going for fifty million dollars...He announced again and everyone kept calm.

" Sold out to…..The Auctioning official looked at him willing to know his name.

Salvador smiled and walked in hand in hand with Elena,He didn't mention his name.

" The property has been sold...The man said as the documents were handled over to Salvador to sign.

The whole crowd was in awe, Salvador didn't even say his name but yet he sat at the front roll because he was the highest bidder in the room.

The party has already kicked start, Whosoever wanted connections and partnership were making interactions,In every Gala party there is always an entrepreneur who wants to meet with all the business men and women. Elena couldn't even finish her bottle of champagne, Eyes were on everytime she looked somewhere. They were all looking at her in a weird way. This time she was thinking what if it's because of the fact that she's Salvador's wife but not everyone knows that yet but everyone had eyes on her especially her gender.

" You know you should at least tell me what to expect next from you, You claim to be just a second class citizen yet you donated such huge amount, Elena sighed.

" I donated it on behalf of someone..I just did my job as his messenger, Salvador lied. He had no intentions of telling Elena who he is anytime soon, He had plans in the future and it wasn't going to be easy keeping his identity from Elena but he had no choice.

" A Messenger!!!!! Who is your master then ??? Is he the dragon general I hear the helps in the villa whisper about, Elena asked.

" That shouldn't be your worry... You should enjoy the show after all eyes are on you, Salvador smiled.

" Probably it's because of the huge amount your master asked you to donate,We have become the center of focus tonight, Elena said sipping her champagne.

" Make yourself comfortable.. This is my friend Mario,He will look after you..I need to take care of something, Salvador kissed her cheeks and signaled Mario.

" Remember what I told you...She should be out of here immediately you receive the text, Salvador whispered to him.

" Yes sir !!!!

" Did you make sure any of her family members aren't on attendance???? Salvador asked.

" I made sure of that and not even one of them is here tonight... Mario said.

" Good !!!! Take care of her…. Salvador said and left.

Elena was sitting alone at the table she was still contemplating on how Salvador was going to match Brett's energy and power when he comes with war, she's very aware of the kind of person he is and he will strike back with everything within him,Her eyes met with Brett and it was a death glare.

Brett stood up from his chair while his father wasn't looking and he walked up to where Elena was sitting but Mario didn't let him come through.

" What do you want Sir??? Mario asked.

" Why are you blocking my way and who the hell are you???? Brett asked.

" Sir... You can't cross the red line sir….

" And on whose orders are you acting on??? Brett asked,He was already provoked and Elena could see it.

" Mario let him come through, You can stay beside me while he says whatever he wants to say...Elena said boldly but in her heart she was shivering and cold.

" Yes ma'am…

" Wow !!!! Brett clapped his hands slowly.

" What do you want???? Elena asked.

" I can see your husband isn't anywhere around,Ohhhhh are you here all alone???? Brett laughed.

" Brett !!!! You should leave..What did you want???? Elena asked again.

" You see I haven't forgotten what you did to me and how you disgraced me..I still can't forget how you humiliated and just because your wounds healed..I don't know how and you can walk again, You think you can just be free...Or is it because you got married to that thing... Brett frowned.

" I wish stop you there.. Ma'am we have to go…. Mario held Elena's hands, She was scared of Brett so she grabbed her bag to leave but Brett held her back.

" Let her go…. Mario punched Brett, This was the second time Brett was getting hit today and it was because of Elena,He tasted blood in his mouth and his eyes were red fierce,As Elena walked out with Mario she saw Brett eyes which she could read was saying in his head that he was going to avenge me.

Brett clenched his fist but something strange was happening, Everyone was looking uncomfortable and weird.

The room was rowdy,It was as a result of the room temperature..It was strangely too hurt that anyone with a plastic mask could have melted,Some women were running outside to avoid the temperature to damage their skin,Brett stood at the middle as he watched the party he has been planning for months turn into a burning furnace, Everyone was evacuating the room and just immediately everyone was outside..A large flame came on.

The fire alarm and murmuring of the guest was the only thing heard,Few minutes fire fighters arrived and discovered someone set the fire and made sure the room was vacant before the fire was lit.

Salvador stood at the rooftop opposite the event hall as he watched the smoke from the fire die down,He thought about his family..After his family were all massacred their home was set ablaze..He watched the black smoke and tears roll down his cheeks. He was already in phase one of his plan and he was willing to take every one of them down.
