Fuck! They're Gone!

Apparently, Diego had been awake since before she entered. Carina was surprised, because Diego was sitting while eating peeled apples that were already available on the nightstand.

“Diego, you’ve come to your senses too,” said Carina.

“Hm,” Diego responded without needing to look who came because he already knew it was his mother.

“Are you done with your favorite son? That’s why you came here? How is he doing? Better or worse than me, mother?” Diego asked sarcastically. He clearly knew his mother had just come from his brother’s room. He was used to being treated this way. Alessio is always first in everything. He is the one that is most ignored. Sad, but that’s the reality Diego has to accept. His mother and father are the same. There is no difference in distinguishing treatment and giving affection.
