He’s My Next Target

Carina is sitting beside her husband. “Open your mouth, please. Aaa.” She spooned the porridge made by the personal chef in this mansion to her husband. Mr. Baldovino opened his mouth. He chewed it slowly.

“Alessio. I heard he left?” asked Mr. Baldovino suddenly. Carina stopped stirring the porridge when her husband asked about Alessio.

‘Ouch. I forgot to ask Alessio. What reason did Alessio give to this old? I’m afraid he’s just testing me right now.’

“Oh, is that so?” Carina asked. She put the porridge on the nightstand.

“He didn’t tell you?” asked Mr. Baldovino, looking confused.

Carina cleared her throat. “No. Em, I think he forgot to tell me?” Carina said with a smile.

“Give me my phone, please,” he asked.

“What do you want to do?”

“Call Alessio. Why didn’t he tell his own mother that he was leaving? Did he do his job well? Who would take care of it if he left? Diego? I’m not sure about him. He can’t be serious about work,” he said.

‘Tsk! How could he underestimate his own son?!’
