The Karma

“Drink your water,” Arsen offered to Lanzo. Lanzo looked very tired even though it was still early in the morning.

“What’s wrong? You look very tired. It’s still morning. I didn’t sleep either. But I don’t look as tired as you,” said Arsen.

He took a sip of the hot coffee his maid had just brought him.

“I’ve visited ten orphanages since yesterday. But I still have gotten no information about him yet. I’ve visited almost every orphanage in this town. Is this my punishment for throwing him away back then, Arsen? Why can’t I find another way? I think this is really karma that I have to live with. I’m not allowed to see him again,” Lanzo said in a low voice. His voice cracked a little at the end. He’s shivering. The guilt was too much for him now.

Arsen could only be concerned about his friend’s condition. In the past, when they were in their teens, they were very naughty teenagers. Having rich parents, and handsome faces, there was absolutely nothing that made them insecure at that time.
