Collins walked into the villa with a train of servants behind him carrying wrapped gifts. “Hello everyone, it’s anyone at home?”

James appeared at the staircase at the sound of his voice alongside his entire family. Upon seeing him, Amelia rolled her eyes with irritation and walked away. Emily stared at her sister and was about to do the same.

“Emily? Please I’m sorry,” Collins said, kneeling on the floor with one knee. “Please don’t take what happened between us to heart. Find a space in your heart to forgive me, I’m a changed man now.”

“No uncle, don’t try to help me up. I won’t stand up unless Emily decides to forgive me and if she doesn’t, I don’t think there should be any need for a marriage between us. I’m sure my decision is fair,” Collins said with a hidden smirk.
