The Call:

Shadrach couldn't help but tremble as he walked towards the Don's office. Luckily, today there was no surprisingly no queue available.

With a knock at the door, he heard a faint 'come in'. Taking in a deep breath, he opened the door and there sat Don occupying himself with tons and tons of paperwork.

"Good day Mr Don," Shadrach greeted respectfully.

The Don barely looked his way and pointed to chair in front of him, gesturing for him to sit.

Shadrach pulled the chair out with shaking hands and sat down.

"Mr Marshall, what can I do for you?" Don asked, punching in the keys on his laptop.

"Well, Mr Don, I know my family has wronged you in a way but I was hoping you could give us another chance and look at the proposal I have brought," Shadrach replied.

Don stopped typing and looked straight at him, making Shadrach nervous. "Let me see."

Shadrach handled him the black file in his eyes and Don went through it and dropped it on the table.
