"Grace!" Manas' voice echoed through the place. "How dare you!"

Grace was rooted to the spot, her face deathly pale. "But, sir, I-"

Manas pointed at Grace's face, who was still kneeling on the floor. "No more 'buts'!"

"I didn't mean to."

"Shut up!" Manas shouted again. His patience had run out. "You treated a guest so badly. What other excuse are you going to make?"

Grace's tears flowed freely. Her body trembled with fear. "Sir, please..."

"Enough!" snapped Manas. "Your behavior has already tarnished my face! Not throwing you in jail is generous enough!"

"Sir, I am indeed guilty." Grace pleaded. "But give me one more chance."

"No! You are fired! Now get out of this place!" Manas' expression showed great contempt for Grace. Manas' gaze on the other servants was equally horrifying.

Those who realized that Manas' decision was irreversible gave up and got up. "Sir, please forgive us."
