Chapter 43

Lucas approached the boxing machine, standing beside Rudolf but not too close to the man. Meanwhile, Lora could only exhale and join behind them to watch the bet.

Rudolf grinned at Lucas. He proudly and confidently held the punching bag. "I warned you that you'd be on your own."

Lucas still looked calm, not bothered by what Rudolf said. He was only focused on strengthening his fists for when it was his turn after Rudolf.

Rudolf was feeling cocky and was very confident that he would win this bet. He glanced at Lora. "You're the witness, huh."

Lora snorted in annoyance as she turned her face away, looking disgusted. She was not excited about this bet because if Rudolf managed to win the bet, Lucas would be in trouble.

Lora folded her arms in front of her chest. "Let's not talk too much and start immediately if that's what you want."

Rudolf chuckled at the woman's words. "Ah, you seem to be looking forward to the outcome of this bet, huh?" He raised one eyebrow, looking at Lora eagerly.
