Chapter 22

Eva, the bolder of the twins, fixed her gaze on her sister with wide eyes sparkling. "I am kissing him, what is your problem?" she demanded, her voice tinged with defiance.

"You can't!" Ava protested and stomped her foot, her voice rising in a mix of shock and indignation.

"I love him, and he loves me. We are girlfriend and boyfriend," Eva retorted moving her both hands, her tone firm yet questioning. "Why can't we kiss?"

Ava's eyes widened, a silent admission of the truth.

Both sisters were undeniably beautiful, because of training, they dressed in short pants and sport bras, flaunting their youthful, bare skin. Their long brown hair was neatly tied in ponytails, swaying gently with each movement. They radiated the raw power of youth – energy, ambition, desire, and an impulsive nature that often overrode careful thought.

Unlike them, I tended to overthink everything, usually ending up doing nothing at all.
