Danny was very tense at this point. His eyes widened until he was speechless when he heard the source of the gunshots very close.

"I think someone came in. H-he, he's got a gun." In a whisper, Danny stated that to Aiden.

This was the first time Danny had gotten into big trouble. He used to find it very exciting when he could be part of a detective, but the gunshots he heard made his nerves instantly shrink.

Although he couldn't see it directly, Danny was sure the person came using a real firearm.

"Shit! We're both in big trouble right now." Danny grumbled, but his gaze was still focused on the closed door. Even his chest was pounding heavily at the moment. He didn't know for sure whether he would be able to survive or not after this.
