Alice and Blake stood outside the station eating and hoping that Lucy would be released soon.

Lucy was the backbone of the Hastings family and if sometimes happens to her they would fall apart, so to avoid such trouble they are willing to do everything to ensure that she is released… no doubt they would pull whatever string possible.
