Michael stopped in his tracks as his ears rang due to how loud the shot was, the room that had gone silent immediately let out an uproar as they panicked running to safety.

Michael had barely dodged the bullet and it had hit a chandelier that had fallen to the floor and shattering in the floor, luckily no one was injured. Within a few minutes the hall was almost empty.

"Why do you have to cause so much trouble?" Alec blamed him letting his voice break the silence as everyone seemed to be recovering from the shock.

"It would have been better if you had just gotten hit by the bullet, that way we didn't have to pay for your foolishness." Alice snapped at him in irritation.
