The doctors all stared in shock that the pill had indeed worked, making their expertise seem worthless, and that they even felt terrible calling themselves doctors.

“How is it possible that such an unknown pill could heal her in a short matter of time?” The older doctor muttered with a baffled gaze as he stared at Vera who was very much full of life.

“Why don’t you give us a pill so that we could make a research with it?” The younger doctor asked Calix who was still mad at him for what he had said earlier and punched him in the face causing him to stagger backwards groaning in pain.

“How much more stupid do you want to be?” He glared at him wanting to punch him again.

“Calix darling, come over here.” His mother’s voice made him pause and he quickly made his way towards her with a smile. He had almost lost her and here she was back to her old self. The doctors quickly left the room before any more situations may arise.
