“Karina, please I do not want to argue about this, it's between my mother and I” he muttered.

“Excuse me? Michael, you chased her out of our house! She is your mother! Do you not understand what you just did?” Karina blurted, still not able to make sense of the situation.

“I know she is my mother, all the more why I am pissed... She just frustrated the shit out of me!” he yelled.

“And you felt like the best thing to do was kick her out of the house, knowing her condition? Michael, your mother is sick! She is the reason behind your experiment, she is the reason you have devoted your life to finding the cure for her illness, whatever it was, you could have talked things out of excuse yourself till you got sober but you didn't do that because it's not what you do” She sneered, with her hands wrapped around her chest and she looked away.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” He asked, gazing at her, figuring out there was more to her anger than chasing his mum out.
