The air in the dining room was still a bit tense as Alec tried to draw the conversation away from Daigon. Every now and then, he would throw Micheal an angry stare, but Micheal pretended not to notice him and just continued munching on his dinner.

"So how long do we have to wait until this investment starts bringing returns? Alice spoke again, bringing the conversation back to Daigon. The scales in her head had been going back and forth, counting how much money she that would be added to her bank account by the end of it all.
