In the car, Rex took a tissue to wipe his shoes, which were stained with Edmon’s blood. Others might have thought he was overreacting for helping a stranger girl. However, he did not feel his actions were in vain because he was happy the girl was okay.

“Do you know the thugs? I see you talked to them,” Molly asked as she drove the car.

“They are the thugs who bother customers at the Quillon family supermarket. I have ordered the leader to abandon his useless gang.”

“Do you not want to take advantage of them?”

Rex took a moment to consider an answer to the question. He had always disliked gangs since they were often bothering innocent girls or other people. That was the reason he beat up the thugs when he was still living in Asteria city.
