Rex directed the bodyguards to track down Dionne. He also asked Irvin, one of his bodyguards, to deal with the attackers.

Even though he had faith in his bodyguard’s ability, he needed to go monitor the situation. Rex and Irvin left the library to find Dionne.

“Simon told me that Miss Dionne didn’t take the main road to the Lace family mansion,” Irvin said as he drove, referring to Simon, a bodyguard who had gone to find Dionne.

Rex stroked his chin as he pondered something. “I think Dionne’s bodyguards led her to a deserted street. Cultivators, right? They avoid crowds. Let’s find a deserted street around the main road you spoke of. Request the others to search too.”

“Yes, Young Master.”
