Kayla scrunched her face as she treated Mike's wounds in her house. He had come back from his failed attempt to capture Reed and his mother, who had escaped from Walker's clutches.

He had been beaten up by Walker's men, and had barely made it out alive.

He was bleeding and bruised, and he was crying like a baby.

He wallowed in self-pity, vowing to exact his revenge on Reed, who had always been one step ahead of him.

He cursed Walker, who had finally cut him off, saying he was useless and worthless. He lamented that he was about to lose the house, the car, the money, everything.
