CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

Josephine arrived the Del Monte estate that afternoon and was about going in, after the estate security guard cleared her to go inside. As she was about walking in, Pedro’s limousine was driving out of the estate. She immediately waved at the vehicle, trying to get his attention.

“Heyyyyy. Heyyyy. Wait a minute. Heyyyyy”

She signaled with her hand, making a wave as she beckoned at the driver, trying to get him to stop.

“Sir, there’s a woman waving at us. I think she wants us to stop”.

Pedro’s driver said, calling his attention to Josephine, who was vigorously waving at the limo. The car was tinted, which made it impossible for people outside of it, to see anyone inside the limo, but anyone inside the vehicle could see those outside. Pedro took a look at who it was, as the limo drove past Josephine.

“Should I stop the limo, sir?”

The driver asked Pedro.

“Don’t stop. Just ignore her and drive”.

He said, to his driver.
