CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Lisa returned back to the hospital, almost evening, to check on her elder sister’s condition. Her auntie Josephine was still there waiting on her.

“Darling, where did you storm off to like that? You got me really worried”

Josephine asked Lisa.

But she said nothing, walking towards auntie Josephine, sat next to her and leaned on her shoulder, without speaking a word. For almost five minutes, Lisa kept quiet and just stayed there.

Finally, she spoke.

“I didn’t know what else to do auntie. I was confused and frustrated. Seeing my sister lie still, like a vegetable and the call from Don Michaelson, from the police station, I just had to do something. Anything”.

She said to her auntie, Josephine.

“I’m so sorry dear. This is not just your fault. We all played a part in this. Now, we have created a demon, who is now after our very lives”.
