Chapter 49: Fairness

Elizabeth's scream wasn't getting into Harlan's ears, he was so damn focused on paying back what Jason did to him earlier.

Her scream had attracted attention as a few people ran towards them.

No one in the college doesn't know Harlan and even though they couldn't see who he was beating up, they rushed at Harlan and got him away from the person. That is what he gets for being poor. Even without knowing what happened, he was considered the guilty one.

Jason groaned and tried to stand up. His face was swollen. He could feel all the muscles of his face sending pain to all parts of his body. He groaned again and after a few attempts, he could stand on his feet.

It was not until he had stood up that everyone knew it was Jason that Harlan had been dealing with. They gasped at the new face Jason now hard. It looked awful.

"This loser is never going to get out of this," someone whispered, scared on Harlan's behalf.
