The guards believed they had it all planned. As long as they moved together and employed their tactics as they had trained over a thousand times, the fight would have gone in their favor.

And if it was any other man they had used their strategy, it would have worked beautifully, but fate granted them the most unfortunate encounter they could have had to use such a tactic.

At first they were confident, then surprised, then confused and finally the fear that the war god usually instilled in those unfortunate enough to be his enemies settled on them.

For every step he took forward, seven men collapsed at his feet. Arthur didn’t use more than one blow to put them down, after all while he was protecting Luna, he didn’t want her to have another experience of a person dying before her, the occasion with their family was more than enough.

The piles of unconscious bodies grew at a faster rate than their backup could arrive and merely moments later, none remained to oppose him.
