15. New Floor New Problem

A few days after.

"Twin Tiger has already sent strong people from the upper floors to hunt us" Hon spoke.

"Hmm, it looks like things are getting worse. And why hasn't the young master arrived yet?" Finn is worried.

"Don't worry, Joel and Blue are with him" Tom looked at the condition outside.

The third floor is a territory that has an erratic climate. Because of that, it was very rare for adventurers to settle down here. And at this time the heavy rain and the dark sky made them settle in a small cave.

"I wish Pipo could come with them" Finia stroked the cat sleeping on her lap.

“It can't be helped, this rain makes it unable to do anything” Hon added some kindling to the bonfire he made in the cave. The cave structure was small but there was enough space for them to rest. Although the wind and splashes of water sometimes enter the cave.

Tom sat and warmed himself by the fire. Take out a bag full of food out of nowhere. Tom ate voraciously. Meanwhile Finia and Hon only took a small amount of food from the pouch.

"Hey, leave the food for the young master" Hon scolded Tom.

"Don't worry, there's plenty of food here"

"But why should the young master go?" Finia was still feeling worried.

"That's because no one knows them. Back at the bar, young master knocked out Twin Tiger's men unconscious so no one would know about him, while the top ranker was still unconscious" Hon took off his glasses and lay down on the rocks.

"We've been roaming the 2nd floor a lot ourselves so, many already recognize us as a group without a guild"

"It's all because of that damn Twin Tiger" Tom was annoyed while still chewing his food.

Somewhere, Blue, Qier and Joel are seen tied up in a room that feels like a prison.

"Why won't the mask come off?" An old man is seen trying to take off Blue's mask. Not long after, Qier came to his senses and opened his eyes.

"What!?" Qier was surprised to see himself and his two comrades tied up in the room. The old man then left Blue and approached Qier.

"What are you doing damn it?" Qier was irritated by the old man's behavior. The old man covered Qier's mouth with a cloth and told him to be quiet.

Qier can't do anything, he can't even use his skills. It was due to the effect of the nearby sealing torch artifact. Qier could only surrender and watch.

It wasn't long before Joel and Blue woke up too, while the old man was gone. Blue panicked to find himself bound and trying to break free. But like Qier, his efforts were in vain.

"nggggg" Qier couldn't speak because of the cloth covering his mouth.

But with the effort he made, the cloth covering his mouth fell off. Qier looked at Blue and Joel then looked around.

"Damn, did we get caught?" Joel tries to untie him.

"Yes, as you can see" Qier corrected his sitting position.

"I knew there was something strange at the restaurant earlier" Blue with an annoyed expression even though he was covered with a mask.

"Be thankful that this wasn't Twin Tiger's doing" Qier told them.

Qier then explained his conjecture, The one who locked them up was some kind of bandit or something. While Blue and Joel were still unconscious, the strange old man took some valuables. Even Qier's pocket watch was also taken. Twin Tiger couldn't possibly pick up such junk.

And their skills couldn't be used because of the sealing torch artifact that was placed in front of the prison's door.

"How to get out of here?" Joel thought about it.

"There's nothing we can do now" Qier with a straight face slowly closed his eyes and leaned against the wall.

Basically they really can't do anything in the current conditions. Soon the old man returned. Through the crack in the cell he waved and laughed.

"Wait a minute, you will be witnesses of my discovery." The strange man was behaving strangely accompanied by an equally strange laugh.

Then some people opened the cell and took Blue, joel and Qier to a place. In a bound state, they witnessed a strange room with many broken and charred doors. But there is one door that looks still fine.

The old man moved to a nearby device and pressed a few buttons. The previously brown door turned red. And dark energy was seen appearing between the sidelines of the door.

"Hahaha , this is it!" The strange old man laughed at the scene in front of him.

Blue, Joel and Qier were dropped inside a magic circle. Slowly the red door began to open And the dark energy was getting thicker. and gave Blue, Qier and Joel the creeps. Not long after, the door opened completely and suddenly the dark energy that came out of the red door entered the body of the old man and several of his followers. The old man and his retainers writhed in pain and shortly after their bodies exploded.

Blue, Qier and Joel were completely taken aback, and slowly the three of them were sucked into the red door.

And after the three of them were sucked in, the red door shattered and left only dark energy that was released and spread out.

"Tom how are things outside?" Hon asked Tom.

"The rain has stopped, and it's getting light" Tom answered.

"Are we waiting for the young master first?" Finia stared outside.

"We'll wait a bit longer, if they still don't come, we have to go to town looking for them"

"Did Twin Tiger catch them?" Finia looked worried.

"That's impossible as long as the Top Ranker isn't aware"

Time passed quickly and there was no sign of Qier, Blue and Joel coming. And they started to see the behavior of the monsters outside the cave starting to get weird. It was a sign that a strong person was approaching.

"Tch, have the Twin Tigers arrived here already!?" Hon panicked.

"Let's go first"

They started preparing to leave the cave.

Sometime later in the cave where Hon and the others were hiding.

"Search for them around here, they shouldnt be far" A man with above average equipment ordered his subordinates.

"Haven't there been any progress from Gion yet?"

"No master, master Gion found no trace of them" One of the underlings gave a report.

He looked around the cave, a former bonfire and some food marks were visible on the rocks. The man then came out of the cave and joined in the search.

That man was Ray, a top ranker who was a member of the Twin Tiger guild. he is one of the strongest adventurers in Twin Tiger. He was also a loyal person to the Twin Tigers, therefore he couldn't accept, there were people who messed around with the Twin Tigers.

Qier's group had already become the target of Twin Tiger because of the incident on the second floor. Gion A Top Ranker from the Twin Tiger guild who has tracking skills continues to make Qier's group difficult so they prefer to enter Monster territory to hide rather than being in a city.
