Chapter 148

Kenneth finally fell asleep in the chair in Jason's treatment room. A sliver of light came in from the glass window and hit his pair of eyes which were still closed, feeling the warmth of the sun.

"It turns out it's morning." Kenneth looked at the window, slowly got up and moved the curtains until lots of sunlight managed to enter his father's treatment room.

"It's a very sunny day," said Kenneth then looked at the watch on his wrist. It was already six in the morning, but it was already so bright outside his window.

“You should be ready to go to Kenneth's office.” Kenneth turned his body to look at Jason who was awake.

"Wait until the doctor comes here," said Kenneth.

"No need for me and there is something I want to tell you, my son." Kenneth put on a serious face.

"What?" Kenneth asked.

"Please convey my apologies to Kate and I will also tell your mother what really happened so that she doesn't misunderstand," Jason explained, regretting that he had misjudged the girl.
