Elijah stood in the sterile hospital room, his chest heaving with a mix of rage and sorrow. His eyes were fixed on Henry, lying motionless on the white hospital bed, the beeping monitors a haunting backdrop to the storm brewing within Elijah.

As he clenched his fists at his sides, the memories of his mother flooded back, each tender moment they shared, and the agonising battle she fought against cancer.

The pain was still fresh, the wound still raw, and Henry's cruel words had poured salt onto it. Elijah's heart pounded in his chest, his blood boiling, his mind consumed by a burning desire for retribution.

Elijah took a step forward, his breath quivering as he drew closer to Henry's prone figure. His jaw tightened, and he fought to control the tremble in his hands.
