Alone in the cold cell, Nicki's trembling hands clutched her phone as she dialed her family, desperately seeking solace and support. The distant echoes of her grandfather's disappointment still lingered in her mind. The phone rang, each tone cutting through the silence of her confinement.

"Grandpa, please, I need you to get me out of here," Nicki pleaded when he answered.

Her grandfather's stern voice crackled through the line, "Nicki, I told you I won't help you. You need to face the consequences of your actions. I have bigger things to worry about."

Tears welled up in Nicki's eyes as she tried to reason with him. "But Grandpa, I didn't do anything wrong. Please, you have to believe me."

His response was cold and calculated. "Shut up, Nicki. Don't cause a scene that might jeopardize my chance of becoming the president of the United States of America. I won't let your mistakes ruin everything I've worked for."
