A Plea For Second Chance

For a time that seemed eternal, Kennedy stood staring thoughtfully at the letter which was handed over to him by the manager of Antipolo Airport.

“Excuse me, sir. I have been a staff of this airport for ten years now and there has never been a day it was recorded that I misbehaved or exempted from duty. I have shown reserved dedication to my job and kept the policies of the organization. Please sir, may I know what I did to deserve this sack?” Kennedy queried softly.

The airport manager, a chubby Indian whose face rarely smiled, tossed his head and replied Kennedy, “Everyday we wake up to new policies and advancement. Antipolo Airport has been privatized and Swan Group has bought more than ninety percent of its shares. Right now we are at the mercy of Jamole Cadry, the CEO of Swan Group.”?

Kenndy raised a thick brow, “Jamole Cadry? I know Jamole Cardry. He is the ex-husband to my girlfriend, Stella and he knows me too.”
