No Longer At Ease
Tonight Stella stiffened her body, fought back moan and was swallowed in heavy thought while Roger had her in bed.

Struggling with breath, sweating profusely and done having her, Roger stole a glance at her gloomy face and wondered why she didn’t engage in the sex.

Taking the duvet off his body to go into the shower he sounded, “Perhaps you didn’t enjoy it. I thought I was a hard rider.”

She jerked away, “A thousand rounds will not save me from this thought. Go and have a wash if you want to. We need to discuss.”

He shrugged, wiped his sweat with a towel. “Well I didn’t fall into a flood of poop. I just had my girlfriend.”

He coiled back into the bed, stretched beside her and added, “Talk to me sweetie. What thought do you speak of?”

Stella snorted, caught his chin and smoothed his mustache, “What did you call me? Your girlfriend? How old are you? I guess in your thirties. I am 25 years already. We are not getting any younger. How old was Jamole when he married me? He was 25.”
