Suspicion and Beguile
“What is this? Two months suspension?” Susan beamed once she took the letter from Jamole. “What do you intend to do now? Do you want to observe it or should I reject it on your behalf?”

Jamole stretched out his arms while a servant placed a hot cup of coffee in his hand.

He chuckled, “I would love to observe it. I want to give Roger the impression that he is powerful in this company. If you reject it he may suspect us so don’t reject it.”

Jamole pulled out another envelope from his pocket. “This is the one you will reject. He also gave Jade two months suspension for protesting in my favor. Jade must not go on that suspension. Tomorrow confront the bastard and reject it,” his voice beamed.

Susan smiled briefly, okay, I will sweetie,: she replied and then took out a document from her briefcase.

Jamole watched her keenly as the glow on her face disappeared for frown.
