Chapter 1: Being in Someone Else's Body

In a very luxurious car, someone sat haughtily in the rear passenger seat. A suit coat tucked aside on his broad shoulders. A private driver sits in the driver's seat, driving the car at high speed, breaking the streets of the city of Netzon, which are quite quiet at night.

That handsome man is Aaron Jeremy Smith, a rich and successful tycoon in the city of Netzon. He is the favorite grandson of the Smith family. Where the SM company is included in the ranks of the largest companies in the world.

He stared out the car window, his mind unfocused. He still remembers the previous incident where he saw the wife he loved so much kissing another man, who knows who. His lousy self and his constant giving in to his wife couldn't confront them.

The car stopped on a deserted road with only tall grass to its right and forest to its left.

"Why stop here?" asked Aaron with a confused look, looking at the driver.

The driver looked back, and what made Aaron's eyes widen was the point of the gun pointed at him.

"You!"

Bang

Bang

Two shots landed right in Aaron's stomach and chest, where blood flowed profusely. Aaron's gaze started to get foggy and unfocused until, finally, everything was dark.

---

"Ah!"

A man awakens from his sleep in a small room. He looked around with a confused look.

"Where is this?" he muttered until he remembered the last incident that happened to him. The man rushed to see her unharmed chest and stomach.

"No injuries. Am I dreaming?" he muttered. He looked around the small room again with a frown on his forehead.

"But where is this?" he muttered, rising from his seat. He climbed down from the little bed and looked for the light switch. The room light finally came on.

He stared at the surroundings that were so foreign to him. "Actually, where is this?" he muttered, scratching his head, which did not itch.

He then walked to the bedroom door and saw a small room where the television room merged with a small kitchen and a bathroom where the door was open.

"Whose slum house is this?" he grumbled, grabbing his hair. "Handphone, where is my cellphone?" he muttered, looking around for a cellphone. He went back into the room and saw a flat object lying on the bedside table.

He took the cell phone and looked around him.

"This isn't my phone," he muttered. He then pressed the on button until the phone was turned on. Look at the wallpaper; there is another man.

"Who's this? Really not my phone. Unlucky! Actually, where am I? What happened?" he grumbled with a frustrated sigh.

He wanted to call his secretary and confidants, but unfortunately, he didn't know a single number. "You really are an idiot, Aaron!" he cursed to himself.

As he was pacing back and forth, the tail of his eye accidentally saw the mirror attached to the wall.

"Who's that?" he muttered. Aaron stepped back slowly and turned his head towards the mirror.

"Ah!" she screamed when she saw her reflection in the mirror.

"Who are you?" he asked with a surprised look. But he realized that there was only him here.

"It's me? But, but whose face and body is this?" He muttered, holding his own face and body.

"How can I be in this man's body? Where is my real body?" He muttered, feeling very confused.

---

After pondering for a long time, Aaron finally concluded that his soul had moved. The shooting incident was not a dream.

After calming down from his shock. Aaron got up from his seat and left the room. Wanting to make sure of one thing, he turned on the television, and the news appeared on it.

There, it is shown that a rich and successful tycoon in this country became the victim of several thieves. Body full of gunshot wounds lying on the edge of the forest. The car and all its valuables have been taken away by a group of thieves. It was also reported that Aaron Jeremy Smith was driving alone.

"What lies are they telling?" Aaron's tantrum was very annoying.

Obviously, the damn driver wants to kill me!"

Aaron looked back at the square screen, where it explained Aaron's current condition under the doctor's care. The plan is to have surgery this afternoon.

"Heh, you're casually watching television. Hurry up, we have to rush to the hospital this morning!" said a woman, making Aaron look at her.

Aaron knew this woman. If I'm not mistaken, this woman is one of the security team members at his residence. And what made Aaron remember him was this woman he once got mad at because he had hit Aaron's body and made them fall to the floor.

"You?" he shouted, rising from his seat.

"What is it?" asked the woman in confusion. "Hurry up and take a shower; I'll be waiting downstairs in five minutes. You already know Mr. Aaron had an accident, and we have to rush to the hospital to arrest those reporters. Ensuring security there," explained the woman while fixing the watch that was perched on her wrist.

The woman was wearing all black, which was the Smith family security uniform.

"Kelvin, what are you staring at? Hurry, take a bath!" He said he was a little annoyed.

"Is this man's name Kelvin?" asked Aaron, pointing to his own chest.

The woman looked at the handsome man in front of her in confusion.

"Are you crazy?" asked the woman. "Kelvin Stewart, don't be kidding! We don't have much time; hurry up and get ready!" The woman then left the room.

"Ah, so I actually transmigrated into someone else's body. This man's name is Kelvin Stewart." Aaron muttered, still in shock at everything that had happened to him.

"Okay, just follow this game first. And find out what really happened." Aaron got up from his seat and walked into the bathroom.

"Shit. Why isn't there a Jacuzzi?" Aaron complained when he entered the simple bathroom, which only had a small shower and closet.

"Ah, what a frustrating second life this is!" he grumbled. In the end, he couldn't help but take a shower with makeshift items.

"Even this shampoo and soap—ah,  what rubbish is this? I don't even know the brand," he grumbled.

Even in this man's face, he is actually handsome. But why do you have to look like a soldier with cropped hair?" he grumbled.

"I hate all of this! Damn it! Who exactly intends to kill me so that I have to be trapped in this annoying condition?"

Aaron finally finished his bathing ritual in exasperation. She hurriedly got dressed and combed her hair a bit differently than before.

"Yes, this is not too bad," he said, taking his steps out of the slum apartment.

"Did you just scrub?" asked the woman with a sharp tone. "Why is it taking so long?"

"I'm in the shower," Aaron replied a little cynically.

"You speak in such a cold tone. Aren't you just going to apologize to me for keeping me waiting for so long?" she grumbled.

"What's your name?"

"Eh?"

"What's your name? Why are you constantly babbling, making my ears hurt?" said Aaron, holding his ear.

"Did you eat something wrong? Or did you hit your head while sleeping?" asked the woman.

"Can't you just answer what I asked?" asked Aaron, still in a cold tone.

The woman sighed in annoyance.

"Vivian."

After that, he left Aaron. Aaron walked, following Vivian, to an old elevator similar to the freight elevator there.

"Huft, what a slum and lousy place to live!" grunted Aaron as he entered the elevator.

"Then get out of here immediately," Vivian replied in a sharp tone, making Aaron speechless.
