Chapter hundred forty nine

Trust is an unbreakable bond that runs deep like the bond shared by the family. In this story my friends had taken a turn for the worse and, according to my favorite opinion, had no detour back to normalcy. “ What did he say?” Helen inquired from Aaron the moment Henry was out of sight and hearing distance. Aaron could tell that their feelings, towards the sudden repentance of Henry, remained mutual. “You don't believe in his abrupt change in character, do you?” He asked Helen the obvious, and she answered with a sharp nod.

“Neither do I trust your bodyguard.” Her eyes shot lasers toward Lucas's direction. Aaron had underestimated Lucas and here he stood, gallantly, and in a position to feed him to the den of lions. “Neither do I,” Aaron replied. He had a casual meet-off with Suarez, he and the detective were bonding up. “Do you have plans for the evening?” He would rather not be left alone to sulk, a taste of Helen on the side would do him some good.
