Chapter hundred twelve

Anna had a feeling Mr. Henry Neville had something to say to her behind closed doors and looked forward to their next meeting. He was an interesting man.

Lucas's somber mood and lack of speech made her wonder if he was preparing himself for his day of reckoning, or probably considering taking flight or remaining rooted to fight like a man.

Prison life looked good on him as well, and he appeared to be receiving loads of preferential treatment. “He runs the prison as well… I can tell from his robust appearance.” She concluded.
