Chapter twenty three

Anna's determination to reclaim Aaron fueled her relentless pursuit of information. It wasn't long before she discovered the whereabouts of a domestic worker from Aaron's mansion. Armed with the knowledge of where to find her, Anna contacted the worker and arranged a secret meeting.

They met in a quiet, dimly lit cafe, where Anna promised the worker a generous sum of money in exchange for information. The worker, a middle-aged woman with tired eyes, agreed to share what she knew. Anna leaned in, her voice low and persuasive. "I need to know who Mr Churchill is dating. Money is not an issue for me."

The worker, her gaze cautious, replied, "I've seen things, Miss Anna. Aaron spent most of his time with his PA, Helen. It was obvious they were involved romantically."

Anna's heart sank at the confirmation of her suspicions. "Helen," she repeated, her voice dripping with disdain. "Tell me more about them."
