Chapter 10

The shocked look on the gangsters’ face intensified. They were not expecting who they were coming to attack to be Oliver Hudson.

“Drop your fucking weapons!” The leader ordered the rest of the men and they all dropped everything they were holding in terror.

Oliver smirked before looking in the direction of Delilah and her son. They were also surprised and he lived for moments like this.

Just because he lived with Sienna Taylor doesn’t mean he’s a worthless man, they in-fact don’t know anything about him.

“What are you doing?” Austin yelled at them, his face was red with anger and he still feels the pain from when Oliver beat him up.

“You’re supposed to teach him a lesson!” He shouted again, “you were supposed to beat him and the wretched bitch beside him up too.” Austin shouted so loudly that Oliver had to mockingly rub his ear.

The gang leader was also angry and before anyone could blink twice, he walked towards Austin and landed a very loud and painful slap on his face.

“You expect me to beat him up?!” He asked in a yell, “you told me he’s a loser, you told me that he’s poor!” The gang leader sneered again.

“He is! He doesn’t own any of those bodyguards and he can’t do anything to all of you!” Delilah shouted, coming to the defense of her son but Oliver only scoffed.

“If you weren’t an old lady I would’ve slapped you too and beat you up the same way you want me to beat him up!” The gang leader said through gritted teeth.

How could they call him a loser when he owns such a big bodyguard group?

The gang leader felt cheated, he felt like Austin only brought him here to make a joke of him but he’s not just going to let it slide.

Looking back at Austin, the gang leader picked him up by the collar of his shirt and slammed him against one of the cars that he came with.

“How dare you try to play with my intelligence!” He shouted as he kicked Austin, burying his feet in Austin’s stomach, the kick sent Austin across the large space but the gang leader didn’t stop.

He walked towards Austin and picked him up again before punching his face so hard that the bruises on Austin’s face became visible.

“Why are you hitting him?” Delilah yelled, her heart was racing by just watching how the gang leader was beating her son.

“We paid you to come and teach someone a lesson! How dare you lay your filthy hands on my son!” She sneered through gritted teeth.

She wanted to touch the gang leader and pull him away from her son but he pushed her away before she could even touch him.

“You better shut up, Old Lady!” The gang leader yelled and Delilah jumped, “if you interfere one more time, I won’t hesitate to beat you up the same way I’m beating your son!” He added before kicking Austin in his stomach.

Delilah’s breath got caught in her chest and she kept quiet because she didn't want to get beaten up too.

Oliver only stood and watched as everything played out, he was going to stop the gang from beating Austin but he changed his mind.

He couldn’t believe that they could do such a thing to him, that they could intentionally send men to beat him up and hurt him.

His gaze moved from Delilah to Austin and he smirked, if the gangsters hadn’t given up, he could beat them up by himself but he didn't want someone to make trouble for him so he just stayed out of it.

The girl felt happy to see that the gangsters turned against Austin and his mother but she still felt the need to punish them.

“What kind of punishment would you reckon we give them?” She asked and Oliver sighed as he placed both his hands in his pockets.

He desperately wanted to punish them too but he couldn’t do that because they were the mother and brother of his ex.

“Let them go.” He answered and the girl looked at him in shock, she wasn’t expecting that Oliver would let people that tried to hurt him go.

“What?” She asked, blinking multiple times and trying to make sure that she really heard him right.

“Yes, let them go. They were once family so I’m not pushing the issue further.” Oliver smiled and the gang leader stopped beating Austin.

The gangs revved out of the building and when Austin and Delilah wanted to do the same, Oliver stopped them.

“I’m letting you off the hook because I don’t want you making trouble for me.” Oliver started talking when he stood in front of them.

“But let this be the last fucking time that you would disturb me or you’d regret what I’d do next,” he warned, “you can go now.” He finished.

Delilah and Austin have Oliver the evil eye and even though they were scared, they thought that they could threaten Oliver one last time.

“You’re nothing but a fucking gigolo and I’ll make sure that Sienna knows about this.” Delilah started but Oliver smirked.

“I can’t believe my daughter got married to a wretched man like you!” She added and Oliver thought it was laughable.

“Whatever rocks your boat.” He smirked before walking past them. He doesn’t care what they think about him anymore because he got a divorce already.

He doesn’t care about Sienna, Delilah or even Austin anymore.

He walked past them into the house and looked back to see them running towards their car. They drove off and he smirked again.

Austin was in so much physical pain and Delilah felt humiliated. They got to their house and began to shout and cry.

“I hate him! He’s such a worthless human being, what does he think of himself?!” Delilah ranted while Austin winced in pain.

“Are you okay, my dear son?” She asked Austin. Sienna heard the voices and decided to come outside to check what’s going on.

“What happened?” She asked with a frown.
