Megan watched with teary eyes as her parents and brother left the mansion. It was taking all that she had in her not to break down completely as it felt like her last thread of life had just gotten cut off.

Smiling through the pain, she made her way to the table and doesn’t say anything as she ate silently. Everyone knew better than to ask her questions so they all left her.

Oliver and Lucian however, joined her on the table and they all ate to their hearts' content. Oliver has a lot of things he wanted to tell her, especially the fact that her ex-boyfriend connived with his ex-wife so they could both kidnap her.
