Oliver smiled satisfactorily before leaving Megan in the kitchen to finish cooking because he needed to change and probably take a nap. He was feeling an increase in his powers and that was making him weak.

He had a quick shower and got into something comfortable before making his way downstairs to see that Lucian was already there.

Megan was setting the table and while they watched soccer, she soon announced that the table was set and food was ready. Oliver and Lucian were both engrossed in the game but they didn’t want to keep her waiting.

They went to the table and she served their food, “did Jackson tell you that the kidnappers are going to court tomorrow?” Lucian asked and Megan nodded.

“I’m going there too, I need to see the look on their faces while the judge sealed their fate.” She answered as emotionlessly as possible. She couldn’t bring herself to feel anything for them.
