Oliver had almost forgotten about the system in his head. He looked around frantically but there didn’t seem to be any danger around.

“What danger did it detect?” He asked himself and it wasn’t until Megan choked on her food that he realized how lost he was.

He poured her a glass of water and handed it over to her to calm her down. Her cough soon subsided and she couldn’t help but ask the question that has been in her mind since like two minutes ago.

“You looked lost,” she pointed out and Oliver raised an eyebrow before laughing, “what’s the matter?” Megan asked.

She had noticed the change in Oliver’s countenance and not only that, she had asked him a question that he didn’t even hear.

“It’s nothing,” Oliver lied, still looking around for where the danger could be coming from but he soon shrugged it off and pretended it was nothing.

“I thought I saw someone I knew but he’s not the one.” He added, Megan smiled before returning her focus back to her food.
