Darren leaned his back against the back of the chair and looked at Cloe intensely. His arms were crossed in front of his chest.

"I didn't expect to make you uncomfortable because I know your cheating strategy," Darren replied.

The more Darren said, the more Cloe looked awkward in her seat. On the other hand Cloe seemed to be desperately trying to avoid eye contact with Darren's gaze.

"If you really need me that much, you shouldn't be like this," Darren replied while holding his wine glass, then raised it slightly.

Cloe replied, "I don't know what you mean."

"Just tell me, what benefits will you give me? Or put it this way, I'll make you an offer. If you refuse, then there is no deal between us."

Hearing Darren's words made Cloe avert her eyes. Her eyes immediately sparkled with enthusiasm and excitement. She looked at Darren with a gaze that seemed full of hope.

"What deal are you going to offer, Darren?"

"About Mrs. Jane and Mr. Giordan. You know them, right?" asked Darren.
