12. How Can We Deal With Mr. Charlotte?

"Walt, Mr. Charlotte is about to be released from prison," Darren said after the family dinner was over.

Walt furrowed his brow as a look of surprise crossed his face. He stepped closer to Darren with an incredulous look.

"How come? How did you know?" Walt asked.

Darren realized Walt didn't believe a word he said. Therefore, he just sighed heavily.

"I figured you wouldn't take my word for it, Walt. I got a phone call a little while ago," Darren explained slowly.

Seeing the serious look on Darren's face, Walt's body automatically moved closer. Walt looked at Darren with great curiosity.

Darren had time to check the surrounding atmosphere to make sure no one heard their conversation.

"The phone call was from Mr. Charlotte. I think he used the prison phone to call me. He said he would meet me and see what he would do," Darren explained.

Walt was still frowning.

"Did Mr. Walt really say that? Oh, aren't those phone facilities only for the privileged, moneyed inmates?"
