19. What We Should Do?

"Jack! What are you trying to do?!" Cloe called out in a frantic shout.

Regardless of Cloe's call, Jack only strengthened his grip on Darren's shirt collar. He gritted his teeth even more furiously, as if pouring out all his hatred.

"Let go, Jack. Don't act crazy," Darren said amidst his panting condition.

Jack grinned at Darren, laughing at his words. He refused to remove his hand from the collar of Darren's shirt, not caring about the threats he was hearing.

"You provoked my anger, asshole. Why are you here with Cloe?!" asked Jack in an emphasized tone.

Darren raised his head with his mouth agape. As the pressure of Jack's hand grip grew stronger, the more he struggled to breathe.

It felt like no matter how much Darren tried to take in oxygen, his efforts failed.

"You haven't shown up for years, and then you come to bother Mr. Charlotte's family," Jack said angrily.
