Eriksson’s advice was for me to quit the creepy spying act and go confront the CEO of Astra Corporation.

“You have to talk to the man and convince him to stop making a pass at the Grangers’ property,” he tells me, “Try to outwit him, and if that isn’t possible, make him a better offer.”

“Oh, gee, you make it sound so easy!” I grumble, “what kind of an offer am I supposed to make him? That I’d compensate him with twice the worth of that property to keep him away from it?”

“If you’re ready for that sure, but I’m actually talking about something less drastic,” Eriksson replied, “make him realize that you know about what he’s doing with the cops and his henchmen, then he might back off.”

“That’s the thing though. According to his schematics for the new building, the granger property must be acquired. Like, it’s in the middle of the plan.”
