109. Jane’s Disturbance

In the midst of the dinner event, Mr. Connor had to step outside to take an important call, leaving Kalix and Jane in the room.

Jane shifted her attention to the man across again. He had a handsome yet indifferent face. Her heart raced wildly. Jane never thought she was actually in love with Kalix until now, even though he was the last person she considered.

Jane pursed her lips and smiled.

It was a genuine smile today, influenced by the joy from her heart.
