108. Alive, or Dead?

"Sebastian Thornhill got shot!" exclaimed a journalist still broadcasting Sebastian's arrest.

Glenn, working while watching the broadcast, immediately put down his pen and reached for his phone to get a closer look.

Sebastian Thornhill lay sprawled in a pool of blood.

‘Could that be Victor's doing?’ Glenn speculated, but he wasn't sure if Victor could have such brazenness.

Then, his thoughts turned to the group that rescued the Davis brothers.

‘The Eyes? I thought they would save Victor; why would they trap him instead?’ Glenn pondered.

"Is there something going on between them? It seems so because they only appeared together yesterday. That means they're hiding somewhere right now..."

He watched as Sebastian's body, carried by medical personnel, was loaded into an ambulance headed straight for the hospital.

His phone rang; it was his father.

"Have you seen the news?" his father asked directly, without preamble.

"Yes, father."

"If not the Davis brothers, he'll link it to us," his fath
