Glenn stared directly at Mr. Zhang. “He’s going to create a virus that will collapse the entire world, sir.”

Mr. Zhang was stunned for a moment. Being from a generation before millennials, he didn’t fully understand the complexities of viruses and their consequences. People in the past didn’t have such complicated problems, even though their lives were much harder and tougher.

“A virus? Like in the movies? People turning into zombies, is that what you mean? Is that even possible?” Mr. Zhang bombarded Glenn with questions.

“No, not like that, sir. It’s more of a disease. Something like a cough, cold, and fever, but with fatal consequences.”

“The flu? You just need to rest and eat chicken soup. You’ll be better in a few days.” Mr. Zhang chuckled. “Don’t try to scare this old man, Glenn. That’s just a common illness.”

Glenn realized that giving a frightening description of the COVID-19 virus would only make Mr. Zhang paranoid, or worse, stress him out. That would be very dangerous.
