52. Mr Lucas's Disapproval

Mr Lucas's face crumpled, his mouth pursed, and his expression sour. He observed two individuals being intimate as he was about to pick up Hazel from the hospital.

His daughter was in the same bed as Glenn, and they were immersed in what looked like as a never-ending conversation.

"Ahem," Mr Lucas cleared his throat at the doorway.

Hazel looked surprised, quickly getting off the bed. Meanwhile, Glenn scratched his non-itchy head.

He was prepared if Mr Lucas insulted him and said nasty things. His heart was too happy to be corrupted by a bad mood.

"Uh-huh, Dad... I didn't know you were coming," Hazel greeted, looking guilty.

She stood uncomfortably, attempting to distance herself, but Glenn pulled her back, wrapping his arm around her waist.

"Mr Lucas, I love your daughter. I admit I was wrong, and I hope my yesterday's mistake can still be forgiven because that was my last mistake with Hazel," Glenn declared confidently.
