Glenn entered his father's office, a restrained smile playing on Connor's lips. He felt proud of his young master.

Meanwhile, Arthur Smith clenched his jaw, pleased with his son's success but displeased at the thought of sparing Lucas Walsh. It wasn't about the nominal amount of money but a matter of pride.

However, going back on his promise would be more embarrassing, especially to his son.

"Do you want to do it yourself?" the father asked Glenn, offering him the option to hand the entire project back to Lucas.

At least Glenn would regain his dignity in front of Lucas, turning around his son's unfavorable impression.

That's what the father predicted, so it was quite surprising when Glenn shook his head, flopped onto the guest sofa, and casually said, "No, I'm tired. Father did it, so you have to fix it yourself," before propping his legs on the long sofa and falling asleep.
