"Nate Evander! Come out!" a guard yelled after opening Nate's prison door this morning.
"About time," Nate thought as he took a deep breath and closed his eyes for a moment.
Nate stood undaunted at the prison door. Nate's hair, mustache, and beard had grown longer than when he first entered the prison. The handcuffs on Nate's hands and feet were removed and he was led to a car by heavily armed police.
The police car soon sped down the highway on its way to the courthouse. Today was the judge's hearing to determine Nate's sentence. It was also Nate's last chance to prove his innocence in court.
"How long have I been in prison?" Nate asked the officer sitting next to him.
"A little over two months," the cop replied coldly. His hand didn't seem to leave his gun.
"I see," Nate muttered as he stared down the street through the windshield.
"Money really can buy anything, even justice," Nate said.
Hearing Nate's words, the police in the car glared at Nate. However, they did not take any action because Nate made no other movements. Only Nate's eyes continued to stare at the road.
Nate was led out of the car with a close escort. Hundreds of people had gathered outside the courthouse. They were all carrying banners insulting Nate. They were separated by a line of police.
Journalists from various media immediately swarmed around Nate as he came out. There were about twenty-four of them with full reporting equipment. Their voices were barely audible over the shouts of the people crowded around the court.
"Die, you bastard!"
"Shameless bastard!"
"Poor useless youth!"
"You scum!" shouted the crowd outside the police barricade.
"Nate, how do you feel after betraying Mr. Lucius, who helped you?" a reporter asked.
"Nate, are you crazy?" asked another reporter.
"What is the last hope of a despicable criminal like you?" another reporter asked.
But Nate said nothing and continued to walk, accompanied by the police. He entered the courtroom to the cheers of those around him. He could see his wife, his father-in-law, his brother-in-law, and other descendants of Lucius already seated in the courtroom. Even Dominic, Sicilia's lover, was there.
A glimpse of Sicilia, holding Dominic's body, seemed to grin with satisfaction when she saw Nate's arrival. But Nate just turned his face away as he walked forward to his seat. The trial began shortly after Nate was seated in the defendant's chair.
Event after event followed procedure. All the results of the trial so far were summarized. In the end, Nate was sentenced to life imprisonment and will be sent to Grimace Island International Prison, nicknamed the Dark Continent. It has been called the most dangerous prison in the world.
Everyone in the room cheered after hearing the judge's decision. Meanwhile, Nate could only sigh deeply as he looked down. He had not thought that he would meet such a fate, even though he had always tried to be kind to everyone, in accordance with the mandate of his late mother and father.
Nate was given time to say his last words in this trial before being sent to prison. Nate calmly walked to the podium and faced the guests present at the trial.
"Shameless!"
"Die in prison!"
"Rot in jail!"
"You despicable criminal!" the guests shouted as they stood and pointed at Nate from a distance.
Nate's gaze slowly fell on all the members of the Lucius family present in the courtroom. Nate also looked at the judges, prosecutors, and Pier. Finally, Nate's gaze stopped on Sicilia's face. Sicilia seemed to be deliberately holding the hand of Dominic, who was sitting next to her.
"I, Nate Evander, will always remember the faces of all of you in this room right now. Thank you for showing me how this world works. Thank you for giving me the hope I've always dreamed of," Nate said.
"I'm going to start all over again. And I can assure you of one thing. You will all reap what you sow!" Nate continued firmly.
"Bullshit!"
"Murderer!" the crowd shouted in response to Nate's words.
The judge then ended Nate's lengthy trial. Nate was then escorted to a police car to be taken to his jail cell. That was the last time he saw the faces of the people who had laughed at him.
There was a letter in Nate's cell when he arrived. Nate opened it immediately and asked a policeman to light a match for him so he could read the letter in his hand. It was from Sicilia.
"I hope you don't remember my face when you want to satisfy your lust in prison. But there is no way you can do that since you never touched me. You don't have to worry about me either, because Dominic will continue to satisfy me as he always has," Sicilia wrote.
"What a whore!" grumbled Nate as he burned the letter with a lighter.

The next day, both of Nate's eyes were covered with a black cloth as he was put into the car. They were not removed until Nate was seated on the plane. He was escorted on the plane by the police as if they were carrying the most dangerous mafia in the state of Vienna.
But Nate did not protest at all and enjoyed his long flight. His face was again covered by a black cloth when the plane was almost at the destination airport. Nate could not see when he got off the plane. The police led him to the car.
From the car, Nate was taken by helicopter with his face uncovered. They were in the helicopter for a long time until they finally landed on Grimace Island, the largest prison island in the world. From there, Nate's face cover was removed.
Nate underwent various tests before being escorted to the prison he would occupy. His hands and feet were now free to move without handcuffs. All of the police officers on duty there were fierce looking and had a tall and stocky posture.
Several times, Nate also crossed paths with other inmates in the cell hallway. Almost all of them had a grim and sinister look in their eyes. Some of the inmates even seemed to grin with pleasure at Nate's arrival.
"New food!" shouted a group of inmates sitting in the hallway. But they didn't dare approach Nate because he was escorted by five heavily armed police officers.
"That's cute," said some of the inmates.
"It looks like this place isn't just for me to spend the rest of my life in. This place is like an open colosseum, fighting is inevitable in order to continue to survive," Nate thought as he was taken to his cell.

Inside the prison, there was a tall, bulky man. His eyes were fixed on Nate, who had just entered. The white-skinned man seemed to stare at Nate from head to toe. The man then grinned happily as he continued to stare at Nate."Brown skin, a well-built body, and a lovely gaze. You're my type," the seated man said."I don't know what you're talking about. But if you are indeed my friend in this prison, then at least introduce yourself," said Nate, who was still standing."You seem to have never felt the bitterness of life to dare behave like this to me," said the man who had been sitting and staring at Nate. There were loud cheers and whistles from the other cells as the other inmates saw the man standing. His body was noticeably more muscular and larger than Nate's, but Nate remained calm, not looking away."I'm Boars. Tell me your name," the man standing in front of Nate said."I'm Nate," Nate replied briefly."What did you do wrong to be brought to this prison?" asked Boars, taking o
"What are they doing here," Nate thought to himself as he stood up."Do they think they can torture me in here?" Nate muttered as he stared out of his jail room."Get all the troops ready in the field. We'll meet them when they come!" Nate ordered."Yes, sir!" the men near Nate replied. They immediately ran out of the prison to gather all the Dark Crimson members.Nate himself immediately went out into the field to wait for all his men to arrive. It seemed that the other members of the group immediately stepped aside when they saw Nate's arrival. Soon, hundreds of people rushed towards Nate. Their faces all looked fierce, as if they were bloodthirsty."Which group are we going to take over, sir?" asked the largest of Nate's men."We will not attack any group. We're just going to wait for our guests to come and attack us," Nate replied as he sat down on a bench."You sit comfortably while you wait!" Nate ordered as he told his other men to bring food and drink.Nate's men looked at eac
"One hundred billion US dollars?" said Nate in disbelief. He looked at Peter, wanting to confirm the truth."Isn't it impossible that fifty percent of Mr. Lucius' income could be that much in eighteen years?" Nate asked. Meanwhile, Peter just smiled."I've always used Lucius' savings to do business. The turnover is very fast and the profit is also large, that's why it can reach so much in eighteen years," Peter replied."Business?" muttered Nate as he gave Peter a sharp look."He's definitely not a casual person. It would be hard for a businessman to get a million dollars. Let alone a hundred billion dollars," Nate mused."Yes. Lucius has done me a great favor, so I'm doing him a favor by investing his money in my business. That money will be yours when you get out of this rotten prison," Peter said as he put the ledger back in his hand."I have been looking for your whereabouts for the last few months. It turned out that I was too late, because you were already in this prison, which
Two months had passed since Nate had met Mr. Sean. Tonight, the center of Vienna was very busy with people driving back and forth in their private vehicles. A black luxury Toyota drove through the city streets. The car with the license plate B 137 H was followed by a black Lamborghini with the license plate B 345 T. The driver of the Toyota looked back several times in his rear view mirror. Meanwhile, the beautiful woman sitting in the back seat on the right looked busy with her cell phone."Miss Sicilia, that Lamborghini car is following us," the driver said, looking at Sicilia through the glass on the dashboard."Lamborghini?" said Sicilia as she looked back for a moment. But she couldn't see the driver because the two cars were quite far apart."Do we have to call the police?" the driver asked."No need. After all, the glass and body of this car have been modified to be bulletproof. We will contact the police if the car makes any strange movements. Try not to drive on deserted road
Nate looked up at the night sky from the balcony of his apartment. The streets of Vienna were clearly visible from the fifteenth floor. Nate was leaning against the metal railing. His right hand appeared to be holding a cup of coffee. On the table was a laptop with a screen displaying the profile of Xavier Lucius. Next to the laptop were open files. The contents of the file were corporate records belonging to the Lucius Business Group, which was run by Xavier's family. Next to the file was Nate's iPhone and a box of cigars."They divided up all of his father's companies fairly. I didn't expect these greedy people to get along after his father died. Normally, greedy people like them would fight to get the biggest inheritance," Nate muttered.Soon after, Nate's iPhone rang. It turned out to be a call from an unlisted number. But Nate didn't seem surprised because he could already guess who was calling him."Yes," Nate said as he answered the call."I got the latest financials for the De
Three days have passed since Nate met Sean. Right now Nate is in a big shopping mall in the city of Vienna. He wanted to buy something to give to his cheating ex-wife. But as he was walking around, he suddenly saw a figure he knew well."Vin Lucius?" muttered Nate as he saw a teenage boy holding a teenage girl about his age. They had just come out of a well-known clothing store.Though Vin and his girlfriend were wearing jackets to cover their school uniforms, Nate would not forget because he had often washed the junior high school uniform of Mark and Wien Lucius' youngest son. Nate just grinned and checked his watch."He should still be at school. Kids and parents seem to be the same," Nate muttered as he walked among the passersby. But soon Nate stopped walking again."Turns out he brought his bodyguards here too," Nate thought as he saw three men dressed like other patrons in three different places.Nate knew they were Vin's bodyguards because he had seen their faces. They were usu
Nate casually paid for his purchases at the mall cashier. He glanced around occasionally to make sure Vin's bodyguards weren't following him."We'll help you carry everything out to the parking lot," the mall employee said."No, no. You're just going to have to deliver it directly to my apartment. The trunk of my car won't hold enough," Nate refused with a smile."All right, sir. Then we'll get the address," the salesman said."You can drop the items off at the front desk and they'll bring them to my apartment," Nate said after writing down the address."Very well, sir," the mall clerk replied.Nate immediately left the mall in his Lamborghini. Nate stopped the car at a red light. The iPhone he had placed on the dashboard rang. It said the caller's name was the apartment receptionist."Mr. Nate, we just received a package from a courier for you. It says the contents are microphones. But it doesn't say the address and name of the sender," the apartment receptionist reported."Just acce
Nate smiled as he stared at the screen of his laptop. He wore a pair of headphones that were connected directly to the laptop. Meanwhile, the laptop screen itself displayed an audio spectrum that rose and fell like the sound of a conversation.Nate's right hand is holding a lit cigar and blowing smoke around it. A glass of drink and some snacks were also on his desk. Nate's body leaned back against a chair as he listened to the Lucius family's conversation through the earpiece Nate had placed among the items in the box."No way. Did this all come from that asshole?" Liene asked as she approached her husband."I don't think so either. But his name is on it," Damian replied."How could he send all this from inside the prison?" said Dominic."Maybe there's a rule that prisoners can send gifts from prison," Jim interrupts."But the problem is that all this stuff he's sending is expensive. There's no way a poor prisoner could afford to buy them and send them here," Mark said after checking
