Chapter 25: Surprise at the End of the Tournament

Everyone seemed ready to cheer when the tournament trophy was handed over. But suddenly, the lights in the Vienna Hall Arena building went out completely. Suddenly, everyone was surprised, including the tournament organizers.

Everyone was even more surprised when the lights returned to normal. They were surprised because the spotlights on the stage were now pointing at the rows of audience seats. Nate, in his original appearance, was standing in the middle of the crowd, far from his seat.

"No way," Xavier said with a shocked look on his face.

"He's alive?" muttered Mark with a sharp look at Nate.

If only the lights had been on them, everyone would have seen the shocked looks on their faces. But all the lights were on Nate, and the big screen on the stage also showed Nate standing up.

"Check, check," the host said, trying the microphone in his hand. But it doesn't work because Jo has a closed microphone access except Nate's.

"What really happened, Xavier? Why is he still alive?" a
