"How long has Emelly been here, Mom?" Audi asked, staring at the woman whose entire body was filled with oxygen tubes to sustain her life.

Whatever had happened to the woman, Audi was sure something significant had caused her to be like this now.

"Mom doesn't know for sure when. But one thing's for sure. She has been lying here for years. Without getting even a little justice," Leona said, her resentment palpable. If she could, she might even kill the perpetrator who had made her child's body fall ill like this.

"Mom, be patient. I'm sure Emelly will wake up soon. Emelly will surely fight to recover for you and her family," Leona said, smiling happily to have met such a kind woman as Audi.

"If you're still being treated here, just visit this room often. Don't hesitate. Mom is happy to have a friend to talk to," Leona suggested.

Audi nodded. "Of course. Audi will always come here when Audi's husband is off to work."
